As of 1st of July 2013 Croatia is part of the European Union. Croatia is not yet a part of the Schengen Area, but nonetheless have a visa policy that is based on the Schengen regime. Please check here whether you need a visa to enter Croatia.
Visas are not required for nationals of countries from the Shengen area as well as other EU members outside Schengen Area. Furthermore, nationals of the following countries do not need Croatian visas: Albania, Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong (China), Israel, Japan, Republic of Korea, Macao (China), Macedonia, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, El Salvador, Saint Christopher and Nevis, San Marino, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, Taiwan, Uruguay, United States of America, Vatican City, Venezuela and British nationals who are not nationals of the United Kingdom for the purposes of European Union law.

As Croatia has a policy based on the Schengen regime, participants do not require a visa for entering

Participants who require a visa for Croatia can fill out the visa application form. Printed and filled out application form along with other required documents should be submitted to the competent Croatian Embassy/Consulate or visa centre or through an accredited tourist agency.
Visa application forms shall be submitted no sooner than three months prior to the date of the intended trip.
The Conference will issue a certified Letter of Guarantee, necessary to apply for a visa, only to registered participants with accepted papers, due to significant cost of such a Letter to the Conference. The participants may only request certified Letter of Guarantee as part of the registration procedure. The Participants are strongly advised to start the visa procedure (by sending us below stated data) latest beginning of June.
The following data is needed to fill-in the Letter of Guarantee: Full name, Date and place of birth, Citizenship, Passport number, Passport issued in (city, country), Date of passport issue, Passport valid until, Home/residence address, Occupation, Work Institution name and address.
Full fee paying participants will receive their Letter of Guarantee on request free of additional charge. For participants paying reduced fee issuing Letter of Guarantee will incur additional fee of €30 (+VAT).
